Final message for 2005

Hi Everyone, I hope 2005 was good to you. 2005 had its ups and downs like any year, but overall I have no huge complaints. Lets just hope some of the wild weather calms down next year.

Next year I will be scaling the content on the website down a little bit and reducing the number of photos that are included. The reason for this is because a couple of times this year I have browsed to the page from friends computers and found it gets slow during the 2nd half of the year when theres lots of info on here.

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year.

Regards,
Paul

Americans in Australia Yahoo Group

There is an information news group on Yahoo thats run by our homegirl 'Tiger'.

The purpose of this Group is to help Americans adjust to their new lifestyle here in Australia. It is often perplexing, and even difficult, to start a new life in a different country. Many things here in Australia are different from what you may have been used to in America. It is comforting to talk to others who have already walked the road you have chosen.

Please feel free to share any thoughts or feelings that you are having during this transitional time in your life. Hopefully, as we come together and talk to one another we will be able to glean from each other things that will help us during this "Stranger in a New Land" phase of our lives. No subject is too big, and no subject is too trivial ! If it is on YOUR mind, then let's talk it over ! Maybe someone in the Group will have an answer or some advice or at least an "I know how you feel !" to send your way.

Also, any American who is interested in Australia for whatever reason (such as: you have relatives/friends here, you are planning a vacation here, you used to live here, etc.) please feel free to join us! Thank you for listening and hope you decide to join us!
